Preordering

In the Store settings under the Ordering tab its possible to specify some general settings.

The Preorder dropdown controls how many days into the future its possible to preorder, ranging from Only when open to several days and months into the future.

The Preorder notice dropdown controls how many days into the future an order has to be placed. The preorder notice value is therefore always smaller than the preorder value.

The Preorder notice time of day on earliest preorder day value can be used to tweak the precision of the Preorder notice value.

Example: if preorder is 7 days, preorder notice is 2 days and preorder notice time of day on earliest preorder day is 14:00, then its possible to place an order 2 to 7 days into the future. Its not possible to order for the same day or tomorrow, and if ordering for the day after tomorrow (2 days from now) then this order must be placed more 14:00 O’clock.

Opening hours

Preordering is limited by the opening hours. This means that even if the store allows for preordering for 1 day/tomorrow, this is only possible if the store is actually open on that day.

Opening hours on specific dates can be used instead of the regular opening hours for cases where the store want to allow preordering for specific dates. These dates will only be available for preordering if they within the Preorder and Preorder notice span.

Product settings

It is possible to add preparation settings which are unique for individual products, if some products require more time that normal to prepare.
